The holiday season is approaching, and the Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce is inviting local makers and businesses to take part in the 2026 Holiday Bazaar.

The annual event, themed The Heart of the Holidays, takes place December 4–6 at the Outcalt Event Center at the Ski Hi Complex in Monte Vista.

Vendor registration closes Friday, November 6.

Artisans, crafters, small businesses and gift-oriented sellers are encouraged to apply now, while spaces remain available.

The Chamber gives preference to handmade and locally produced merchandise, and reviews applications for product variety and available space.

Vendor Registration and Booth Fees

Standard 10-by-10-foot booths cost $125, corner booths cost $150, and food truck spaces cost $150.

Chamber members receive a 10% discount.

Payment is due at registration; booth fees become nonrefundable after November 6.

Vendors also need a City of Monte Vista vendor permit, and applications are subject to approval.

Three Days of Holiday Shopping

The bazaar is scheduled for Friday, December 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, December 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, December 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can browse seasonal gifts, crafts, specialty products and holiday treats.

Santa Claus and the Grinch are also expected to make appearances, with food available for purchase.

Supporting Local Businesses

For many small businesses and independent makers, the Holiday Bazaar is a chance to meet customers face to face and share their work with the community.

For shoppers, it offers an opportunity to find thoughtful gifts while supporting the people who live and work in the San Luis Valley.
