Love's Opens 23rd Colorado Location in Alamosa, Enhancing San Luis Valley Travel Amenities

New Travel Stop Offers Fresh Food, RV Services, and Community Support

Love's Travel Stops has inaugurated its 23rd Colorado location in Alamosa, marking the company's first new store of 2026.

Strategically positioned southwest of the intersection of Highways 17 and 160, this new travel stop provides travelers with fresh food options, clean restrooms, and dedicated RV amenities.

The Alamosa store features Love's signature fresh food items, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, and fresh-cut fruit, all prepared in an open kitchen concept that allows customers to observe the food preparation process.

Additionally, the location houses a Godfather's Pizza, offering more dining choices for visitors.

For RV enthusiasts, the facility includes three RV parking spaces and an RV dump station.

In line with Love's commitment to sustainability, the store has allocated space for future electric vehicle (EV) chargers, ready to be installed in partnership with local utility companies as customer demand arises.

In celebration of the grand opening, Love's has donated $5,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of San Luis Valley and an additional $5,000 to Children's Hospital Colorado.

Furthermore, Love's district managers collaborate with eligible nonprofits in their areas to make annual donations through community grants.

Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Love's operates nearly 670 locations across 42 states, employing close to 40,000 team members in North America and Europe.

The company's core business focuses on travel stops and convenience stores, consistently expanding its presence to serve travelers nationwide.

Alamosa, situated in the heart of the San Luis Valley, has been experiencing significant developments aimed at revitalizing the community.

Notably, the downtown area is undergoing a transformation with the construction of a new four-story, 90-room hotel on a previously condemned property.

Supported by a $1.3 million EPA cleanup grant, this project is expected to generate nearly $20 million annually in economic activity upon its completion in mid-2027.

Additionally, the Rio Grande Headwaters Restoration Project, in partnership with local organizations, is working to enhance the health and accessibility of the Rio Grande in Alamosa.

These initiatives aim to provide residents and visitors with improved recreational opportunities and support the region's agricultural needs.

Love's new travel stop aligns with these community efforts, offering enhanced services to travelers and contributing to the local economy.

By providing essential amenities and supporting local organizations, Love's demonstrates its commitment to the growth and well-being of the San Luis Valley community.
