Details on Bustang Outrider Alamosa and bus stops San Luis Valley

Residents and visitors in the San Luis Valley now have enhanced transportation options with the expansion of the Bustang Outrider service.

Starting February 17, Cañon City will be added as a daily stop on the Alamosa–Pueblo route.

The new stop is located at the Gateway Depot, 816 Royal Gorge Blvd.

Eastbound buses toward Pueblo are scheduled to arrive at 9 a.m., while westbound buses heading to Alamosa will stop at 3:45 p.m.

This addition aims to provide more convenient travel options for Fremont County residents.

In addition to Cañon City, the Alamosa–Pueblo route includes stops in Pueblo, Pueblo West, Penrose, Cotopaxi, Salida, Poncha Springs, Moffat, and Alamosa.

Notably, in Alamosa, passengers can board at two locations: Adams State University at 1603 First St. and the Loaf 'n Jug at 102 W. U.S. Hwy 160.

These stops are strategically placed to serve both students and the general public.

Bustang Outrider is designed to connect rural communities with Colorado's larger cities, offering reliable bus service, consistent fares, and convenient connections.

Beyond the Alamosa–Pueblo route, Bustang Outrider operates six other routes, including Craig–Denver, Crested Butte/Gunnison–Denver, Durango–Grand Junction, Lamar–Colorado Springs, Trinidad–Pueblo, and Sterling–Denver.
