AutoZone Coming to High-Visibility Corner in Monte Vista |
national auto parts retailer is headed to Monte Vista |
A sign has been posted on the fenced property at 43 N. Broadway Street, confirming that AutoZone will be constructing a new store at the former site of Charizma Salon & Spa.
The property sits at the highly trafficked junction of U.S. Highway 285 and U.S. Highway 160, giving the future store maximum visibility to both local residents and through-travelers.
What to Expect AutoZone typically builds freestanding stores between 6,500–8,000 square feet with dedicated parking and easy highway access. Construction phases usually include site grading and foundation work, steel framing, exterior red-and-white branding installation, and interior build-out and inventory stocking. Once construction begins, projects of this size often move quickly, with openings sometimes occurring within several months.
Local Impact Monte Vista already has a NAPA Auto Parts location, meaning the addition of AutoZone introduces direct competition in the local auto parts market. For residents, that could mean expanded inventory options, competitive pricing, greater convenience, and new local employment opportunities. The project also represents continued commercial investment at one of Monte Vista’s busiest and most visible corridors.
A Key Commercial Corner The 285/160 intersection functions as a gateway into Monte Vista, making this one of the most strategic retail locations in town. National retailers typically conduct detailed traffic and demographic studies before selecting sites — suggesting confidence in Monte Vista’s market strength.
We’ll continue to monitor progress and share updates as construction advances. |
